Second Amendment Rights
Jason Saine is a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment.
The Second Amendment and Section 30 of the North Carolina Declaration of Rights guarantee the right of the individual to keep and bear arms.
Jason supports the ownership, sale, purchase and “lawful carry” of firearms by law-abiding citizens and elimination of statewide “no carry” zones.
As gun owner and supporter of liberty, he will continue to fight for legislation that protects, not inhibits the rights of gun owners.
Jason supported the provisions of the omnibus firearms bill, HB 650, passed by the North Carolina General Assembly and signed by Gov. Bev Perdue that went into effect on December 1st, 2011.
This bill further established for North Carolina a castle doctrine that extends not only to your home but to your vehicle and to your business. Moreover, if you are a visitor to North Carolina and you have a concealed carry permit from ANY state, it is honored here.
