Taxes & Spending

Jason Saine has pledged not to raise taxes while serving in the North Carolina House and has never voted for a tax increase.

As a conservative, Jason knows that Raleigh, like Washington, has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.

That’s why Jason has never voted for a tax increases and pledges to never vote for a tax increase as a member of the North Carolina House.

He believes that for our state to succeed and be competitive we must revamp our outdated tax policies in North Carolina and develop new tax policies that reduce the overall burden on taxpayers, not increase it.

He also believes in policies that will enhance job creation, income growth, build wealth and enhance business investment.

Jason believes that we must develop a modern tax code that will better conform to our changing economy & promote income growth, business investment & make our economy more diverse.

We can do this by making the tax code simpler, more transparent and easier to understand and administer.

Most importantly, we can make our state the best place to conduct business because our tax code & policies foster job creation and income growth instead of hamper them.

Finally, as we change our tax structure, we must make sure that any changes should be revenue neutral and that everyone pays their fair share of taxes.
